Fredy Scriba Shares NEOPMA Pro Mod Series Victory With Angela Ray At Atco Dragways Door Wars

(06-17-2014) Atco, NJ – Fredy Scriba and Team had their 63’ Sorcerer Corvette Pro Mod tuned and ready for action and it showed running the 1st 5 second Pro Mod pass at Atco and running a string of 6.0’s to get to the finals at the Door Wars at Atco Dragway this past weekend.

Angela Ray with their family operations in her 1967 Ford Shelby Mustang was equally impressive qualifying number 3 with a 6.14 and running a 6.16 in the semis to get to the finals. Do to local curfew and unable to get the finals in, it was decided to make Fredy and Angela co-winners and split the points. “Atco is such a great track to race,” Fred Scriba said. “The Sorcerer Vette was working perfectly. Joe Sway, Len Capone and all the staff at Atco took care of all the racers, and prepped the track well. It’s a tricky track, but with the repaving improvement’s those who figured it out were getting down the track”.

“The Staff at Atco made sure everything was as we expected, and went out of their way to make sure. Joe Sway and Lenny Capone did a great job enhancing the facility,” states John Mazzorana NEOPMA President.

With their respective split, Fredy Scriba moves up to 3rd place in points, with Angela Ray moving up to sixth place.

The NEOPMA Pro Mod Series continues with “Super Chevy”, July 11th-13th at Maple Grove Raceway.
