The Northeast Outlaw Pro Mod Association (NEOPMA) is looking for more good, fast cars. Our two Pro Mod field program may interest you.
Are you tired of going to races that run days longer than expected to complete? Do you get annoyed with waiting hours upon hours between rounds? Do you get frustrated because your car is heavier and has less power than those rich guys who have mega bucks to buy potato chip cars with big dollar, multiple motors? Upset about the entry / test fees not to mention taking days off from work to get to the track on Wednesday / Thursday.
The NEOPMA may be the answer you are looking for. Here are some Facts for you to consider
1. The NEOPMA has been in business for 26 years unlike ADRL or XDRL and never defaulted. We purposely race within the North East USA from Virginia north to Canada only.
2. Our members are regular middle-class racers that are extremely friendly and like quarter mile. We race 8-10 events per year at some of the fastest /safest /best tracks in the country (Maryland International Raceway, Maple Grove Raceway, Atco Raceway, Capitol Raceway and Old Bridge Township Raceway / Englishtown before it closed).
3. Our Annual dues are $900 which gives racers and three crew free entry to all our events. To put this in perspective that’s about $100 per event vs $800 – 1,200 per event with other associations.
4. Two Fields gives NEOPMA racers twice the chance of win. Our two car Pro Mod fields also makes it easier to maintain better parity. The Killer Fast Field (Pro Mod Elite) generally will run in the 5.72 – 5.90 range while the Super-Fast Field (Pro Mod) runs in the 5.91 – 6.50 range.
5. We pay all 16 cars that make first round of Eliminations. Winner pay outs are $ 5,000 – 7,000 for first field and $2,500 – 3,000 for second field. Three rounds of Eliminations mean less wear and tear on parts, more people in the stands, quick turn-arounds and less causes for delays or incomplete races due to track conditions.
6. We generally have a test session on Friday (cost from zero to max of $200 per car) with one round of qualifying that evening. Two qualifying rounds on Saturday with Eliminations to follow. Our Races are generally completed by 10PM Saturday evening. All our guys want to be home with the family on Sunday and must work on Monday. WE DO NOT HOLD OVER RACES UNTIL MONDAY.
7. We made new rules changes for 2019 to improve Parity. Our rules are normal racer friendly making it easier to comply. The new rules will be posted on our website (NEOPMA) by December 15, 2018.
8. The members are competitive but very friendly. If you like to socialize after the race, you will like us.
