DWAYNE WOLFE RACES TO NEOPMA PRO MOD SERIES VICTORY AT CAPITOL RACEWAYS NEOPMA PRO MOD SERIES EVENT

(08-19-2014) Crofton, MD – What an incredible finish to an incredible event presented by Switzer Dynamics. Dwayne Wolfe and Team Wolfe squeak out a close nail biter against Tommy “The Undertaker” Gray, 6.063 to a 6.064. It doesn’t get much closer than that.

The Management at “The New Capitol Raceway” had the track ready for some fast side by side action. During the first session of Qualifying Friday night three 5.90’s lit the scoreboard. Craig Pio 5.983, Dwayne Wolfe 5.989 and Fred Scriba with a 5.998 with many 6.0’s and 6 teens.

NEOPMA and the track Management at “The New Capitol Raceway” and their staff did a good job keeping everything running smooth. The weather was great and provided for awesome racing and a great fan experience.
Craig Pio qualified number one and is having a great first year in Pro Mod with a 5.983 @ 250.69. 21 teams made the trip to compete for 16 spots in the NEOPMA quarter mile Pro Mod series. This year to date 45 individual teams have competed at a NEOPMA event.

“Capitol Raceway is such a great track to race,” said John Mazzorana. “The improvements to the track and facilities were outstanding. Their hospitality was 2nd to none. Track conditions were at their best and the staff kept it that way throughout the event.”

The NEOPMA Pro Mod Series continues with the Pro Mod Warz event, September 6th and 7th at Maple Grove Dragway, Mohnton Pa.
